We are seeking a new Front Office Coordinator who is passionate about providing outstanding service, enjoys interacting with people, and wants to be a part of an energetic team committed to making a difference in the sports community.
About the Position: The Front Office Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for the San Jose Earthquakes, embodying the organizations spirit for all fans, customers, clients, and visitors. This pivotal role involves a blend of reception, administrative support, and operational management tasks to ensure a seamless and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate is friendly and self-motivated. You will need to be able to be flexible, proactive, and able to work independently. A customer-oriented approach is essential. This person will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate assistance to fans, business partners, and potential clients
  • Answer all inbound phone calls and direct inquiries to the right contacts within the organization. Relay messages to appropriate contacts clearly
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the organization to answer all Earthquakes related questions, quickly and clearly
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes
  • Address complaints and actively find solutions
  • Work directly with Ticket Operations, Sales, and Account Service teams to assist clients and process ticket orders through Ticketmaster. Trouble-shoot basic ticketing and account issues
  • Main point of contact for office and breakroom machinery (printers, postage, coffee machine/other breakroom equipment)
  • Monitor office supplies and breakroom snacks/drinks. Replenish and place orders when necessary. Track expenses and maintain budget.
  • Keep box office and lobby reception tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
  • Provide general administrative support to the front office staff
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new programs and processes.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and proactive thinking.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently.
  • Basic budgeting skills and experience managing inventory.
  • Positive attitude, calm demeanor, and a commitment to providing assistance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Salary:
$48,000-$50,000 annually
