Job Overview: Shriners Childrens is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Dietary Aide to join our team.
This position is part time, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $18.20 – $27.30/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Varied shifts to cover gaps and work every other weekend: 530am – 2pm 630am – 230pm 930am – 6pm 1030am – 7pm 11am – 730pm Responsibilities: The position of dietary aide performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and distribution of meals for the patients, visitors and the staff of Shriners Hospitals, Philadelphia Unit.
Kitchen Sanitation
- Follow all state, federal and local sanitation laws.
- Tally sheets are followed and the patients get what they ordered in a timely manner.
- Cafeteria is clean, condiments are stocked and all non food items are available to our customers.
- Catering events are set up on time and presentable when instructed by management.
- Patient’s desserts and all food that does not require an oven is made and presentable.
- Customers are served in a polite and timely manner
