Executive Assistant

Your New Role
The Executive Assistant will support a Senior Vice President of Post Production HBO/Max.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Administrative duties for SVP of Post Production HBO/Max include rolling and initiating calls, filing, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, preparing, and submitting expense reports, and taking meeting notes

  • Show (HBO/Max scripted show) related responsibilities include:

    • ordering file transfers

    • managing file distribution lists for emails, meetings, and software such as PIX and Scenechronize

    • Scheduling mix and VFX review sessions

    • handling credits

    • reviewing music breakdowns

  • Attend weekly HBO/Max Production and Post Production meetings

  • Update crew and talent databases (including on AirTable and Smart Sheet) and maintaining resume files

  • Update production reports and show files daily

  • Check availability and union affiliation of potential post production crew members

  • Coordinate the needs of the studio to several Post Production teams on shows at one time

  • Aid with Delivery elements, paperwork, and collaborating with the Post Delivery department

  • Help organize and manage post production training programs and other below the line equity and inclusion training

Qualifications &amp Experience

  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative, is curious, and is extremely resourceful

  • Must be able to pay attention to details and be able to multitask

  • Ideal candidates will have experience working in post and knowledge of the post production process

  • Have good energy and work with quick turn arounds

  • Must be capable of establishing good working relationships with principal players on shows and help navigate through HBO’s corporate procedures

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel required. Database programs (such as Smart Sheet or AirTable) highly recommended

  • Experience using PIX, Aspera, and Scenechronize preferred

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,224.00 – $78,416.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
