Responsibilities:
  • Performs a wide range of secretarial, administrative, and confidential executive assistance to efficiently support and assist Market Area Executives (with no executive level direct reports)
  • As a guideline, could provide support to multiple Market Area Executives (with no executive level direct reports)
  • Proactively manages Executives’ email and correspondence to provide efficient response times and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manages Executives’ calendars, including annual planning, scheduling meetings, and proactively adjusting calendars as needed
  • Plays a key role in the planning and coordination of large Agency meetings, which may occasionally require travel
  • Coordinates Executives’ business travel arrangements
  • Partners with communication specialists to assist Executives in the preparation, proofreading, editing, and posting/sending of communications and other documents
  • Compiles information from various data sources and business partners to create presentations and/or reports
  • Effectively adapts to new technological applications, platforms, and processes to support Executive assignments
  • Acts as the point of contact between Executives and internal/external associates
  • Serves as a trusted thought partner to Executives, offering valuable insights during the strategic planning and preparation of meetings, events, communications, and more.
Qualifications: Experience in a support role working with Executives is preferred. This role requires exceptional relationship building, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion. The ability to use resources, manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, work independently with minimal supervision, and communicate in both written and verbal formats is also crucial for success in this role. The best candidate understands the State Farm Agency model and has market area operations acumen.
