This position is full – time (40 hours / week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 – hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am to 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This position is a remote – based position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet with vendors regularly to review performance metrics and contractual compliance
  • Maintain standards of service delivery verification through the use of state mandated EVV system
  • Partner with state regulated Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) vendor to perform and partner with state vendor to lead monthly EVV provider trainings
  • Create positive lasting relationships with key points of contact across EVV system stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot any problems, concerns or difficulties that providers are experiencing with EVV system compile clear directions for problem resolution or route to appropriate point of contact for resolution
  • Act as health plan EVV subject matter expert
  • Partner with UHC EVV implementation team to ensure successful information transfer of authorization data, provider data, and member data to state mandated EVV system as well as ensure proper EVV claims adjudication
  • Partner and collaborate with internal care team, providers, and community resources/partners
  • Demonstrate solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compose routine correspondence and reports implementing measures to ensure vendor reporting is timely accurate and complete
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work in a time-sensitive role
  • Assist health plan in project management tasks including but not limited to supporting Vendor Manager with subcontractors/vendors through reporting, enforcing corrective action plan (CAPs), routine business communications, contract reviews, and Joint Operating Committee (JOC) preparation
  • Monitor and own EVV vendor contract status from the initial exploratory phase to internal approval, implementation, go-live, and through steady state

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in project/program management experience
  • 2+ years in managing or working with health care claims
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven excellent customer service skills
  • Proven solid writing skills and effective communication, including delivering presentations
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification or Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience as EVV specialist
  • Background in Managed Care
  • Knowledge of Medicaid population
  • Residence in NM
