Our Chesterton location is seeking two qualified Document Prepper/Scanners to join the Production Team. The ideal candidate for this position will have hands-on work experience with responsibilities for ensuring that customer documents are prepared and scanned with maximum quality, accuracy, and speed, according to the job priority and specifications.


This job is a full-time, permanent, fully benefited position and will include training, the opportunity to participate in our O perator I ncentive P rogram (OIP) and a generous Total Rewards package.
We are seeking new team members to join the following shift:
  • 1 st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

The position will be based out of our Chesterton Data Management Services location at:

Responsibilities:


Prepping

  • Remove clips. Staples, rubber bands
  • Affix numbers assigned to each page
  • Correctly and swiftly alphabetize or place in numerical order
  • Organize assigned pages into logical documents and determine appropriate attachments
  • Record or log date, time or other information requested
  • Perform various functions relating to document conversion
  • Retrieve and return documents to secure repository and maintain integrity and proper conditions of client materials
  • Maintain page break formats, and the integrity and proper conditions of client material
  • Review coded information to ensure accuracy to match contractual amounts
  • May locate and record log numbers of documents containing errors
  • May complete correction sheet

Scanning

  • Ability to read and understand job specifications
  • Efficiently scan documents and complete projects per the job specifications
  • Operate and maintain scanners in accordance with specifications and regulations
  • Complete minor maintenance on the scanner when needed
  • Maintain a neat and clean area around the scanner
  • Complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately
  • Develop proficiency at operating various cameras or scanners
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Certificate
  • Maintain confidentiality in relation to documents or projects being serviced
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet attendance and punctuality requirements
  • Ability to effectively receive and follow both oral and written information &amp instructions in English, including the use of spelling, grammar &amp punctuation
  • Ability to read at a level sufficient to understand documents containing titles &amp codes
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Ability to work and thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Driven to meet set internal production deadlines and quotes along with maintaining project standards
  • Ability to work independently &amp collaborate when necessary with team members in an open environment with nearby proximity to other workers
  • Ability to perform high levels of repetitive motion on a daily basis which includes but is not limited to:
    • Repeat motions involving fingers, hands, wrists, arms
    • Reach laterally and vertically, up to 3 feet
  • Ability to sit in a stationary position for long periods of time if required
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
