Your role at Clorox:
Starting Hourly Rate- $33.88/hr + $0.95 shift Differential when scheduled on nights
The Distribution Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the department adheres to and meets all safety and quality standards, cost targets, as well as ensuring successful day-to-day operations of the Distribution Department. The Distribution Department is a dynamic team-based environment with responsibility for safely transporting and shipping the highest quality cat litter in the correct amount at the right cost. Department tasks always include working safely without exception, loading trailers with finished product, receiving raw materials, assisting with palletizing finished product, cycle counts and other inventory management, implementing improvements, and contributing to the overall success of the plant. In this role, you will: The Distribution Team Lead has ownership for all areas of the Department, including the development of all team members, coordinating appropriate staffing to balance business needs with cost targets, ownership of the site fork truck program, relationship management with carrier and PPC partners, and overall guidance for all shipping operations. The Distribution Team Lead will also contribute to plant operations by partnering and collaborating with other departments and flexing to support work as needed.

Work Expectations:
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards/guidelines and report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner and ensure all team members are doing the same.
- Drive a culture of ownership, transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Deliver against daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Leverage technology as needed to stay informed and ensure all team members are doing the same (ex: daily review of email, production schedules, troubleshooting guides, job aides, etc.).
- Lead by example and ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained.
- Define personal growth needs and commit to continuous learning and improvement.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures
- Keep records of team members’ attendance and hours worked
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and procedures are in place to enable the consistently safe and efficient transport and loading of finished goods and other materials as needed.
- Manage Department documentation and procedures to ensure accurate inventory records and controls.
- Oversee day-to-day execution of cycle counts, wall-to-wall inventory counts, and other area activities as needed.
- Review Department training needs and partner with Department Manager and T&Q Lead to ensure sufficient programs are in place, consistently administered, and updated as needed.
- Ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained
- Conduct team member training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign team member training to experienced workers
- Confer with management to resolve team member problems or complaints
- Evaluate team member performance
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate team members and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality or efficiency
- Provide developmental opportunities for operators to ensure the team can operate, monitor, and adjust the equipment within the department.
- Review and reconcile system data as needed, create reports, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain department results board and supply information for department and site scorecards
- Other duties as needed to support business operations as directed by Management. What we look for: Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required:
- SAP or Inventory Experience 1-3 years
- WMS Experience 1-3 years
- Demonstrated Leadership Skills 1-3 years
- Warehouse, Manufacturing, or logistics experience required.
- Demonstrated leader capable of inspiring and teaching others.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Willing and able to learn and master new concepts across departments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of basic technical math and troubleshooting principles.
- Must be able to successfully complete Clorox Fork Truck Certification as outlined by the site Fork Truck Certification Policy.
