Planning, forecasting and allocating product are the crucial first steps in the product’s journey to our clients. It takes analytical, strategic, and results-oriented inventory management professionals to build our brand partnerships, forecast client behaviors and optimize inventory levels across our network. Operations and logistics complete the products’ journey into our clients’ hands. Your role at Sephora:
As a Distribution Analyst, you will be responsible for allocation of new, animated items and replenishment of core inventory from DC to stores to maintain the right levels of store inventory. Reporting to the Manager, Store Planning &amp Allocation, you will be part of the Distribution team supporting the Allocation Director.

In addition, you will:

• Determine ideal Store level quantities for New launches and Animated Items to meet in store launch dates.
• Propose and align on allocation strategies for constrained inventory to maximize inventory
• Partner with Merchandise Planning/Demand Planning/Merchandising team to proactively identify potential upstream gaps to prevent downstream inventory issues
• Analyze Brand in stocks and partner with cross functional teams to improve and maintain target In stocks levels for all brands managed
• Hindsight store events impacts to baseline sales to plan lifts for future events
• Monitor store sales and partner with Demand Planning to identify item/store trends that would require forecast adjustments
• Build relationships with Brands to optimize store level inventory and store sales
• Manage Store requests and provide ideal inventory levels to support store trends
• Recommend shipment expedites for stores to ensure on time Hard launch dates are met

• 1 – 2 years of Inventory Retail or Allocation Experience required
• Strong Excel Skills
• Strong numbers aptitude able to compile statistical reports
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills able to handle multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible team player.

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 – $82,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
