About this position

The Development Assistant supports the philanthropic and fundraising efforts of the North Memorial Health Foundation. They work with both internal and external partners to ensure a positive experience with development team and compliance with documentation for program expenses and financial assistance payments. This position assists specifically with program purchasing, financial assistance request processing, gift processing, fund management, and general administrative support to the Foundation office. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, desire to help others and interest in fundraising and development work.


Requirements

Education

  • Associate degree in related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

Experience:
  • One-year administrative support, data entry, customer service or fundraising experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess a high level of computer literacy, including experience using, maintaining, and entering data in database/electronic portal and competence with MS Office
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently, set priorities and complete work on time and with accuracy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and excel in fast-paced environment
  • Mature judgment and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work occasional nights/weekends
