Position Summary

This position performs clerical work involving scheduling, monitoring, analyzing, processing, and coordinating workflow and entering data in the contract compliance database or other related systems.

Pay Grade: 41
Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education


Minimum Qualifications

1. Four (4) years of experience in clerical, bookkeeping, data processing, or statistical work AND

2. High school diploma or possess a GED OR

3. Three (3) years of experience in clerical, bookkeeping, data processing, or statistical work and one (1) year of college study (30 semester hours or 36 quarters).

4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.


Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provides or assists in research, complies and generates reports for EOC Investigative Unit.

2. Analyzes incoming EOC applicant requests or source documents to determine the type of requests, certify the accuracy of the information, make changes when needed, and/or determine other types of preparation needed to complete requests of applicants.

3. Prioritizes incoming compliance work from several sources in order to develop or assist in developing schedules, workloads, and time frames for record/print/reports run, etc.

4. Verifies compliance workload, checks several sources, discerns problems, and confirms solutions.

5. Types or keys data into a computer to produce form letters, schedules, memos, documents, and other keyed materials which can be automatically reproduced when needed.

6. Revises existing files, schedules, programs, etc. to eliminate duplication and to update periodically as needed.

7. Handles special recurring or non-recurring jobs for the maintenance, adjustment, and correction of many kinds of records.

8. Prepares and maintains logs, reports, inventories, and/or other types of reports necessary.

9. Enters data into a computer and operates other office machines.

10. Communicates problems or questions and assists applicants as needed.

11. Operates the central telephone system, answers all incoming calls directs them to the proper personnel, and makes referrals to appropriate offices/agencies.

12. Performs other related duties as required or directed.

2. Knowledge of business English and arithmetic.

3. Knowledge of data processing and/or word processing principles or techniques. (Special knowledge may be required in this area).
