This position is full-time. Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am – 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Our office is located at 2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704. Employees will be required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.

We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7:00AM – 4:00PM PST , Monday – Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interact with client(s) provider on charge detail reports
  • Obtain electronic patient records from healthcare billing systems.
  • Sorting and preparing of courier services.
  • Inputting provider time sheets.
  • Perform provider compensation data review
  • Reconcile missing cases
  • Answer incoming calls from payers &amp patients.
  • Sort and file patient demographic forms
  • Locate and retrieve patient demographic forms when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1 + year of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
  • Ability to adhere to a hybrid schedule, while working onsite three days a week at 2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704.
  • Ability to train for the first four weeks between 07:00AM – 04:00PM PST (standard working hours are 8AM-5PM PST).
  • Ability to work full-time. Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am – 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

  • Reside within commutable distance of 2001 Addison ST Berkeley, CA 94704.
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.54 – $32.55 per hour.
