Job Details Data Coordinator – Search Extended
Coastal Carolina University seeks applications for the position of Data Coordinator for the Department of Human Resources.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists with the verification of the BW and SM payroll registers.
  • Codes and enters personnel data into the university’s administrative computing system (Datatel).
  • Verifies temporary work eligibility and identifies/tracks employees with multiple positions.
  • Conducts trainings on specific employee types.
  • Prepares reports in accordance with departmental calendar and generates custom reports as needed.
  • Serves as back-up at the front desk.
  • Assists with special projects and performs general office related functions.
  • Responsible for trouble shooting and providing assistance to ITS Programmers on all workflows related to specific area of entry.

Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and related work experience are required. Three (3) years of related work experience is preferred. Experience with payroll processing and enterprise based administrative software (such as Datatel) is also preferred.

Operations Assistant II (AH74/61122170/FTE-S01004P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range: $31,561.00 (minimum) – $44,977.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Related experience.
Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of related experience is preferred. Experience with enterprise based administrative software program (such as Datatel) preferred. Experience with payroll processing preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
Knowledge, Skills &amp Abilities Proficiency with MS Word and Excel necessary. Knowledge of Access database management and reporting preferred. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities is necessary. Attention to detail/critical thinking is mandatory. Must be able to meet posted deadlines.
