Job Description : Overview: We are seeking a full-time Data Collection Coordinator Intern in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing data collection &amp administrative support for the Garmin field testing program. Responsibilities: Essential Functions
  • Work with Data Collection Analysts to set well-defined data collection tasks for products in development
  • Coordinate basic product testing including recruiting testers, booking facilities and maintaining equipment
  • Conduct data collection sessions with test subjects according to established test protocols
  • Accurately record, download and enter data from test sessions
  • Validate data using internally developed processing tools
  • Document test progress
  • Identify/resolve basic issues during data collection and logging
  • Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to: managing the remuneration program for the external tester group, managing users and adding prototype devices to asset tracking system, coordinating regular maintenance/service of test equipment, and coordinating weekly newsletters for external tester group
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
  • Demonstrates ability to achieve goals while working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a flexible and fast paced environment
  • Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Word &amp Excel
  • Possesses a sense of urgency and commitment in delivering solutions in a timely fashion
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain and deliver a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to learn how to use and apply data management tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate some evening and weekend test sessions
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Garmin personal monitoring products
