Full Time &amp Part Time Call Center Representatives – Work from Home – Raleigh, NC (REQUIRED: Must live in NC, within 50 miles of the Raleigh office)

AKC Reunite is seeking Full Time and Part Time Recovery Coordinators (Customer Service Representatives) to join our team. While helping customers for the nation’s largest non-profit pet microchip and recovery service, you will enjoy the benefit of working remotely from your home. We are looking for candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for providing customers with excellent service. AKC Reunite is a 24/7/365 call center, we are available for pets and their owners every day/every night.

We offer a paid training class which will be provided remotely. The initial training class will be for 3 to 3 ½ weeks. We’ll provide you with desktop office equipment. Be assured, you will have plenty of resources and support which includes coaching and additional training.

  • Full Time &amp Part Time Positions Available (Part Time openings are 20+ hours per week)
  • Schedules may include weekend hours every week or every other week
  • Starting Pay is $16.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential for hours worked between 7pm-6am and weekend shifts

Duties &amp Responsibilities:

  • Representatives assist customers with general questions primarily with pet enrollment, lost/found pet reports, collar tag and collar orders, additional services available, and by imparting information about AKC Reunite policies and online resources.
  • Representatives assist customers by evaluating, researching, and resolving their concerns. Representatives must be able to make problem-solving decisions independently. Representatives will process enrollments, orders and properly and accurately make notations within AKC Reunite systems as the need arises.
  • Representatives provide customers with information about AKC Reunite and microchipping their pets as the best way to help ensure a lost pet will find their way home
  • Representatives provide empathy and guidance to customers calling in to report a pet lost or found.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable internet connection and speed required for this position – Must have a direct wired connection to modem or router, with 10MBps download speeds and nearly 1 MBps upload speeds available within 6 feet of the home office set up. Your computer or router should be physically connected to the modem by a cable. No wireless connection .
  • Must live in NC within 50 miles of the Raleigh office (will be required to come to Raleigh, NC office as needed and to pick up/return company-issued equipment)
  • Strong problem-solving, customer service and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, as well as web-based software systems.
  • Must have pleasant and articulate telephone voice/manner a responsible and professional attitude and be able to function under pressure and maintain composure. The ability to learn and retain extensive information about the AKC Reunite system and practices is essential.

Experience

Required
  • 1 year(s): Proficiency using Microsoft Office and web-based software technologies to assist customers and communicate both internally and externally
  • 2 year(s): Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment

Education

Required
  • High School or better
