Responsible for standard daily operations and support of inbound or outbound customer service contact-center environments. Departments will coordinate the operational interaction of departments in support of business objectives. Maintains quality contact-center practices in response to customer inquiries. Receives explicit instruction on filing, recording, and organizing documentation associated with a product.
The Work Itself
- Responds to inquiries regarding application information, coverage, rating, billing and policy service.
- May interact with underwriters at non-affiliated insurance companies to secure coverage not underwritten by Ally.
- Works closely with producers to assure that new and renewal business information is collected in a timely and thorough manner also participates in the quality control function to verify accuracy of proposals and policies.
- Is assigned less complex situations than Senior Customer Service Representative.
- Typically reports to a Senior Customer Service Representative.
The Skills You Bring
- Entry Level.
- Experience in financial services or similar industry.
- Bachelors degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for the experience.
- Performs clerical, administrative and technically based activities and/or supporting tasks.
- Typically requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
