Pay Rate: $18.44 – $19.41 upon meeting probationary period requirements. This position is not eligible for remote work. Regular, in-person attendance is required to meet business and customer needs.
This position will perform cleaning and maintenance activities understands and gives verbal or written instructions reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs removes snow with shovel or snow blower retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety maintains product inventory makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
- One-year experience with commercial or institutional cleaning methods, techniques and equipment.
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds is required, occasional lifting of 50 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in maintaining wood floors.
A creative and innovative lifelong learner with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population able to problem solve within a collaborative team environment ability to understand different perspectives while utilizing expert knowledge of the technical operations of the job.

Monday – Friday 4:30pm – 1:00am. May be required to work after hours, weekends, and holidays.
