As a Crew Travel Planner, you will reserve and manage air travel arrangements for all Disney Cruise Line Crew Members for both repatriation and rejoining dates, based on contract requirements. You will regularly communicate with crew members, shipboard leadership, and labor operations. You will manage the day-to-day travel arrangements for Crew, while handling any emergent issues that may arise. You will have a strong understanding of air travel operations and international geographic acumen.

This position requires full availability 24/7 operation including evenings, overnights, weekends, variable shifts and holidays.

You will report to the Crew Travel Manager.

You Will:

  • Manage all Crew Member travel arrangements, including flight information, air tickets, hotel reservations, and invoices
  • Partner and communicate with Shipboard Officers/Crew and Human Resources personnel to provide all travel arrangements
  • Optimize Crew Member travel arrangements by securing the most appropriate arrangements based on business needs, using published and contracted rates
  • Compile and manage all financial content, as it relates to travel, and communicate results to upper management
  • Ensure compliance with all ARC, airline, and immigration requirements and mandates
  • Assist Air Sea and Corporate Travel teams, as needed
  • Participate in system testing and provide input for operational adjustments

You Will Have:

  • Experience with airline and/or travel reservation systems
  • High aptitude for learning new systems and process in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of world geography and international travel experience
  • Flexible schedule to support 24/7 operation, including evenings, holidays, and overtime
  • Experience with crisis or emergency situations
  • Experience troubleshooting operational issues
  • Build effective relationships and partnerships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more year of experience booking and pricing International/Domestic flight arrangements

Required Education

High School diploma

Preferred Education

Bachelors degree
