Job Description : Communications Analyst

This is a remote/virtual position.

The Communications Analyst is a highly skilled, creative, and driven communications consultant and strategist with exceptional skills in translating business objectives into strategic communications for member-owner communication efforts through a variety of channels and audiences.

This role works in partnership across the full Member Relations and Government Relations organization (Member Relations – Ag, Member Relations – Dairy, Government Relations, Member Governance &amp Shared Services Team) along with Corporate Communications Team in support of the Land OLakes, Inc. member-owners.

The ideal candidate for this role has proven, exceptional writing and communication experience, with a proven track record in internal and external communications.

More specifically, this role has the following accountabilities:

  • Draft and prepare materials that align with business objectives and performance.
  • Develop and execute communication plans that support business strategies.
  • Develop internal and external relationships to support and enhance communication goals.
  • Lead strategy for member-owner portal tool.
  • Measure content effectiveness and continually refine creative approaches to drive results.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Requires minimum 3 years’ experience in communications, writing or highly related work.
  • Experience with modern digital marketing and publishing tools (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Kentico)
  • Experience with utilizing Zoom Webinar functionality.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong conceptual thinker able to think beyond the boundaries of immediate responsibilities, function, and business to those of the entire enterprise.

Salary is negotiable based on experience: $67,360 to $101,040
