As a Learning &amp Development Claims Advocate, you will support the broader US&ampC Claims team by delivering training to new and existing team members looking to develop new skills. You will support the development of new training material and will provide hands-on support to ensure the team is well prepared for the dynamic work that underpins our complex insurance program.

What Youll Do
  • Lead classroom &amp virtual instruction for members of the Global claims team learning new skills &amp processes
  • Support Knowledge Management leadership in designing robust training modules
  • Develop onboarding plans for new hires across a variety of Claims functions
  • Assess quality of trainee work product using a standard rubric
  • Compile reports to track training efficacy at the individual learner level
  • Produce summaries of macro training trends for Claims leadership
  • Deliver adhoc training to internal teams as needed
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency with internal Claims systems &amp tooling such as Claims Resolution Center, Origami, Zendesk, Uber Incident Portal &amp Chronicle
  • 1+ year of experience on Ubers Claims team
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to internal work quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • Claims designation obtained or in progress
  • 2+ years in auto insurance claims adjusting or 1+years of specialized expertise in bodily injury claims within the auto insurance sector
  • Prior learning &amp development experience
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • High degree of adaptability to meet changing business needs
  • Ability to mentor members of the Claims team and serve as an insurance and claims subject matter expert


For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$59,000 per year – USD$65,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Ubers bonus program, and may be offered an equity award &amp other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
