Summary
Clubhouse Kids is looking for a cleaner for our childcare center.
This position is part-time and flexible.
This cleaning job is for 2-2.5 hours daily, Monday-Friday.
The cleaner can complete this job in our building before children arrive (7:30am), or after we close(5:00pm).
Options for this shift could include:
- 5:00am-7:00am
- 5:30am-7:30am
- 5:00pm-7:00pm
- 5:30pm-7:30pm Could even be late night.
Duties
- Daily sweeping/vacuuming and mopping of all 6 classrooms and shared building spaces (lobby, cubby room, hallways, sensory room)
- Cleaning 1 staff bathroom daily
- Some cleaning of surfaces (doorknobs, windows as needed)
- 1-3 loads of laundry daily (folding not required)
- Fogging classrooms as needed
- Organization and putting away cleaning and janitorial materials
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning and janitorial materials
- Occasional building organization projects/ deep cleaning as needed
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or obtained your GED
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain fingerprinting through the State of Vermont- Child Development Division (paid for by employer)
- Must be able to physically complete all job tasks
- Must have reliable transportation
