Casino Armed Security Officer

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Protect all property of Choctaw Casinos and ensure procedures are followed as applicable. You will report to the Security Manager, Senior Sergeant, Sergeant, or Corporal.
Start rate: $19.30 per hour | Full time | Variable Shifts
Primary Tasks:
- Access and retrieve computerized data.
- Investigate unusual or suspicious situations.
- Help with emergency situations.
- Maintain security and procedures according to rules.
- Patrol internal and external company property
- Have knowledge of company regulations and procedures.
- Maintain logbook of all activity occurring daily.
- Operate firefighting equipment and short-wave radio and administer CPR and first aid.
- Write incident reports regarding all security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism and submit to the Security Supervisor.
- Refer dangerous situations or complex problems to supervisor.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least of 21 years of age.
- Must be medically fit and able to perform all of the essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a physical fitness test.
- Must have a valid state drivers license.
- Must have basic knowledge of computers to allow report writing, composition or corresponde nce, inte rnet and email.
- You must be able to reason and react calmly and quickly in emergency and life-thre atening situations. You must be able to qualify yearly with department firearms
