cPort Credit Union is currently accepting applications for a detail oriented, full-time BSA Specialist. The ideal candidate will have prior banking experience and will be generally familiar with financial institutions’ BSA requirements.

Essential Duties

  • Managing ongoing enhanced due diligence and risk rating on Members – ability to keep track of information and reports accurately, and on time
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and will also be familiar with BSA software such as Verafin.
  • Prepare SAR filings confidentially and accurately in a time sensitive manner
  • Reviewing and Filing of time sensitive reports
  • Account and transaction activity research
  • Enhanced knowledge of BSA and how it impacts a financial institution and the ability to answer questions from other departments.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, confidentially and time management skills
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Location

This position will be located in Portland.

Requirements

College degree or completed college coursework preferred
