Job Description : Position Title: Badging Coordinator Department: Security Job Description: General Description: Reports to the Admin Director of Security. Responsible for providing credential administration and support to badging/credentialing operations, and access management for OU Health.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create access control badges to include all programming as it relates to activation and deactivation
  • Responsible for overseeing all current and new employee badges, contactor, and vendor badges.
  • Process badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return of, and tracking of all associated actions
  • Perform periodic card inventories and database reviews
  • Support day-to-day operation of the OU Health card access system and assist with maintaining operational programs and files.
  • Compiles reports, tracks trends, and makes recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Coordination of badging efforts in close cooperation with HR Operations and Recruiting and external partners
  • Contact former employees via telephone, email, letter, to retrieve missing badges
  • Track badge retrieval and employee contacts
  • Ensure badge unaccountable percentage is maintained at acceptable levels
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information
General Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 2 or more years of professional work experience, including at least 1 year experience in security in a lead, senior, or project management role. 5 or more years of experience preferred. or an equivalent combination of education and experience Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Certified in Genetec Security Center Synergis and Omnicast required within 1 year of hire based on class availability. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in exporting reports from Genetec Synergis and Omnicast.
  • Process oriented, results driven individual.
  • Proficient in using Excel to mine data from system reports and provide high level overview for director.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Strong influence skills and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
