Job Description :

Assist a graduate student in surveying road crossings for aquatic organism passage. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:


95% – Essential – Conduct field surveys for culverts by measuring culvert attributes (e.g. length, drop height, etc.)

5% – Essential – Data entry

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education – High School or equivalent
Work Exp – 1+ years in a clinical or research setting

RESPONSIBILITIES


JOB KNOWLEDGE
Fundamental Job Knowledge – Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties – Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities – No fiscal responsibility for the departments budget.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


90% – Stand for prolonged period
100% – Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period

WORKING CONDITIONS:


100% – Exposure to heat or cold
100% – Overnight Travel

COMPENSATION INFORMATION


Expected Hourly Rate: $20.00


Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidates previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.


ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL


Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
