- Serve as the project manager for a consortium of three college recipients of an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Power Grant. Serves as the grant point of contact with ARC, and communicates updates and any other necessary information with key personnel at the three colleges.
- Oversee the grant compliance and the ARC requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with each of the college’s Workforce Coach to ensure compliance and scheduling of workshops, and recruitment of participants.
- Track and coordinate activities among participating colleges.
- Ensure prompt and efficient communication with participating colleges, contractors, and ARC representatives.
- Oversee common structure to access, intake, and tracking of participants including tuition costs and wages.
- Create a sustainability plan for post-grant.
- Schedule Advisory Group meetings at least quarterly and provide updates on status of the project.
- Work with the Advisory Group for all activities of the project to ensure conformity with the strategic initiatives as set forth in this proposal.
- Maintain relationships with Advisory Group members consisting of participating colleges as well as representatives from AHTI, the Community Colleges of Appalachia, and business representatives.
- Monitor all budgets on a quarterly basis and report them to each participating college and the Advisory Group.
- Work with the MGCC Business Office on requirements of the quarterly reporting.
- Collaborate with community groups and external agencies to build relationships and promote the AHTI program.
- Represent the AHTI grant at various regional and national gatherings, as necessary.
- Develop and nurture a positive public presence with the external community through volunteer service on committees and boards participation in community events and one-on-one/small group interaction with community leaders, citizens, donors and prospects, as appropriate.

Candidate should possess excellent Microsoft applications knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience reporting to and communicating with a governing board
- Ability to be a thinker and doer
- Knowledge of managing Federal and/or State multi-year grant programs
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing/development of programs
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship aptitude
- Proven subject matter knowledge, which may be evidenced by training, experience, and/or credentials.
