Duties/Responsibilities:
- Employ data driven approach to sourcing acquisition targets.
- Work with in-market clinical and operational leaders to drive outreach to target practices.
- Engage with targets in initial screen and work with targets to obtain information for underwriting.
- Align with market leadership on investment thesis.
- Build financial models and present investment theses to executives.
- Work with operational teams to manage integration.
- 20%-30% travel required.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, preferably of physician practices
- Proven experience collaborating and building trust with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects to completion.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, navigate competing priorities, and move toward results and decision-making.
- Business acumen and analytical approach to decision making.
- Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
- 4-7 years of professional / M&A experience, preferably at a high-growth company
- Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
