    Administrator Coordinator- Student Services

    Position Purpose
    Under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Services, to provide a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Director and Assistant Director communicating information on behalf of the Director to school district employees, parents, other school districts, public agencies, etc.

    Essential Functions :
    • Respond to communications and problem solve on appropriate actions.
    • Arrange meetings as directed by the Director of Student Services.
    • Order student materials and classroom items.
    • Manage workflow while ensuring that deadlines are accomplished and correct.
    • Communicate in a timely manner, with knowledge of priority status.
    • Maintain schedule for Director and Assistant Director of Student Services.
    • Compile accurate information for monthly Board of Education agenda.
    • Compile payroll information for an accurate Service Report.
    • Perform clerical duties as assigned.
    • Screen and direct incoming phone calls while maintaining a reliable log of all calls received.
    • Process regular and periodic confidential documentation.
    • Generate memos, emails and reports when necessary.
    • Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the Director may assign.
    • Maintain records related to McKinney Vento, Foster Care, DCS, and discipline proceedings.
    Equipment
    Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, copy machine and fax machines, and telephone.

    Travel Requirements
    Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

    Pay Rate
    $46,904.00 annual

    Work Schedule
    8 hours per day.
    260 days per year.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Evidence of service-minded work ethic.
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
    • History of punctuality and dependability in work setting.
    • Extensive experience with Skyward, Excel, and the Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, etc).
    • Knowledge of Perry Township Procedures/Programs/Curriculum.
    • Job experience work in clerical/office, preferably secondary.
    • Ability to work within various project deadlines and multi-task accordingly.
    • Familiarity with business office procedures.
    • Effective and professional oral and written communication.
    • Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner with Central Office Administrators, Building Principals and staff and all stakeholders.
    • Work collaboratively with individuals and groups.
