Administrative Associate

Summary:
Under general supervision, the Administrative Associate will register Oncology patients at our Adult Oncology clinic using standard established processes. In addition, with the return scheduling team greets all patients with excellent customer service, arrives patients to the correct departments, schedules from in person and electronic requests, maintains daily reports, participates in projects and operation support, assist with development of departmental and program standards, and provides professional assistance to physicians, nursing, clinics, and management staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Greeting and assisting all patients
2. Maintaining daily/weekly reports as outlined in department guidelines
3. Scheduling from in person requests
4. Scheduling from electronic requests
5. Scanning documents
6. Faxing, sorting, distributing
7. Answering incoming calls and returning calls from voicemail
8. Participating in department quality improvement activities
9. Attending monthly staff meetings and daily huddles

- High School diploma or GED
- No licensure or certification required.
- One (1) year of clerical or administrative experience.
- If Bachelors degree, no years of experience is required
- If Associates degree, no years of experience is required
