Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics

Posting Summary Provide high-level administrative support to the Athletic Department and the Director of Athletics at the University of Vermont. Manage calendars and incoming email schedule and confirm meetings, coordinate travel, briefings and reports and provide general office support.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Associate’s degree with two to three years experience providing executive level assistance required. Proficient computer skills: word processing skills (including editing, proofreading, etc.) spreadsheet manipulation and database management required. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication, and organizational
skills required. Effective interpersonal skills and experience in exercising discretion in complex situations.
Desirable Qualifications Ability to work productively in a team environment. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
Anticipated Pay Range $21 to $25/hour
Other Information Anticipated pay range $22 to $25/hour. Actual hiring pay dependent on comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate’s experience level and length.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, Background Check required for this position
