Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing administrative support at Plant Victor Daniel including, but not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for the Maintenance MGR and Maintenance staff, O&ampM MGR and Combined Cycle staff, and other employees throughout the plant as needed.
  • Coordinate onsite meal (catering) requests.
  • Coordinate logistics for plantwide celebrations, events, meetings, etc.
  • Provide computer/data/documentation support with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) assist in maintaining databases and creating reports, presentations, compliance documentation, etc., as needed.
  • Coordinate/Manage timekeeping for multiple time groups to ensure compliance with designated processes and procedures
  • Organize/schedule meetings, while maintaining calendars as needed
  • Provide administrative support utilizing ORACLE: procurement card administration, invoice reconciliation/processing, and expense statements, while ensuring designated processes and procedures are followed
  • Ensure proper records management practices (records retention policies) are followed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Four-year degree in business or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, Power Point required
  • 3 years or more of administrative support experience required
  • Invoice reconciliation experience required
  • Maximo or similar software knowledge preferred
  • ORACLE software experience preferred
  • Prior experience in timekeeping required
  • Previous work experience in an industrial environment preferred
  • Previous work experience in training/employee development preferred
  • Ability to be flexible, organize, prioritize, and perform multiple/diverse activities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions using sound judgement
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
