The Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining ticketing operations for various events and attractions within AREA15. The key responsibilities include updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ticketed events and attractions across different channels. The role involves working with various teams, including Customer Service, Events, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure smooth and accurate ticketing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Set up and maintain tickets for Attractions, Experience Passes (bundles), Events, Experiences, and more.
  • Maintain ticket pages on the WordPress website and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure venue ticketing kiosks always display the correct events/attractions and ticket groups for each kiosk location.
  • Interface with Customer Service and Events and Marketing teams and respond to ticketing-related questions.
  • Handle ticketing support for weekend and late-night events.
  • Support internal teams to ensure 100% operations of ticketing channels.
  • Review daily reporting for compliance with ticket sales business rules (such as email, zip, etc., collected with every purchase, redemption scanning, etc.).
  • Interface with the Finance team to support chargebacks and other questions.
  • Train staff on the use of the ticketing CMS and POS for ticket sales and redemption scanning.
  • Provide customer support for any ticketing-related issues.
  • Assist the Ticketing Operations Manager with identifying problems in the workflow and building an internal roadmap to improve Ticketing operations.
  • Support related Technology initiatives/projects.
  • Report any major issues or blockers in the End Of Week report.
  • Exhibit ART! (AREA15s service standards) at all times.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS &amp SKILLS:

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ticketing, box office, or related roles.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Basic math and computer skills with the ability to learn and use point-of-sale systems (POS).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • A team player, dedicated to achieving objectives.
  • Skilled in fast-paced settings, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and collaborating across various business units.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to commute between office and venue(s).
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
