General Description:
Under general supervision, put away, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout various healthcare settings.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and other supply locations utilizing proper rotation.
- Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items.
- Pick supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts, and restocking Exchange Carts such as Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays.
- Check various supply locations for product expiration dates and removal according to policy.
- Distribution of oxygen tanks.
- Assist with special projects.
- Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.
- Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests.
- Perform issues and credits in the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately.
- Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure par locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash.
- Assist with training Supply Chain staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Typing, use of computers, computer software, and the ability to learn software applications necessary in the performance of typical work.
- Proficiency in utilizing the MMIS.
- Knowledge of general office equipment such a fax machines, copy machines, and printers.
- Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.
