Job Description :

Duties

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Real Property Program to promote the efficient and economical use of Americas real property assets.
  • Develop and maintain the agency?s 5-year Real Property Efficiency Plan and submit reports as required by the Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP).
  • Management of the OPM annual $24 million dollar rent bill with major OPM program offices to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop long-range (three to five years) OPM housing plans.
  • Serve as the OPM senior technical specialist and subject matter expert for the Fleet Management Program.
  • Exercise duties and responsibilities of a first-level supervisor.

  • Due to COVID-19, the agency is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework, even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. Once employees are permitted to return to the office, you will be expected to report to the duty station listed on this announcement within 45 days. Qualifications

For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the private or public sector) performing the following: 1) Negotiating, preparing and executing real estate contracts; 2) Conducting cost analysis for real estate transactions to provide reports, presentations, and recommendations to leadership; 3) Managing lease transactions and documents to ensure procurement and financial accuracy; and 4) Leading property management activities within an organization. Note: Your resume must fully support this experience.
