- Supports instructors, and the CRD team members to facilitate access to summer enrichment opportunities to students with physical, health and behavioral challenges.
- Communication with student, parent, or guardian on classroom needs.
- Assist in supervising students during breaktime and lunch.
- Assist CRD team during student drop-off and pick-up.
- Encourage all students to engage in camp activities.
- Ensures equipment is used properly in camp classes.
- Helps supervisor resolve conflicts among campers.
- Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
- Assist supervisor in specific student situations when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous teaching and or counseling experience required.
- Oklahoma Special Education Teacher or counseling certification required.
- Ability to work with a wide range of program areas.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Ability to deliver superior customer service and work quality to internal & external customers.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment by prioritizing tasks & projects.
- Strong flexibility, time management, and organizational skills. Able to manage a busy workload.
- Ability to walk long distances between various summer program classes.
- Ability to understand and meet critical deadlines.

Job Title: Summer Quest Special Services Advisor
Department: Career Readiness & Development
Reports Directly To: CRD Manager
Hourly Wage: $40 per hour, Exempt/Certified

Summer Quest Purpose:
Francis Tuttle Summer Quest one-week camps are meant to be fun and educational while at the same time serving as an introduction to Francis Tuttle Career Training programs. The main goal is to utilize the camp as a launch pad for the students to enroll in a Francis Tuttle program when they become eligible.
Primary Function of Position:
Provides necessary support to students with physical, health or behavioral challenges. Provides support for Summer Quest instructors and the CRD team. Assists students and families with exceptional customer service.

Working Conditions:
Travel between campuses. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs. Walking long distances. Extensive communication with internal and external customers. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance. This is not an exhaustive list and reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.
Organizational Relationship:
Temporary personnel position reports directly to the Career Readiness & Development Manager.
Working Days and Hours:
Working days and hours for week one (June 4-7), two (June 11-14) and four (June 25-28) are Tuesday-Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Working days and hours for week three (June 17,18,20,21) are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
