What does the job involve?
Summary: Performs manual and clerical tasks pertinent to the operation of the stores area and/ or handling of specified classes of stores items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
- Receive and check incoming materials against accompanied documents, for completeness of routing, final inspection approval, part numbers, and other factors.
- Process travelers, shippers, and issues cards for allocation, recording and disbursement.
- Maintain cards for parts and material stored in stocked areas with assistance as needed.
- Fill orders in accordance with requirements defined on travelers, shippers, or other requisitions.
- Assist in checking accuracy of inventory records and trace stock shortages within storeroom by physically checking for materials.
- May be assigned the responsibility of a storeroom of stock area.
- Performs operations where duties are essentially the same or of a less difficult nature.
- Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Degree or General Education Degree or 1 year of related experience and/ or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills:
- Language : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Mathematical Ability: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
