Stocker / Receiving / Freight Associate

Description:
A Stocker performs general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking product.
Requirements:Essential functions
- Load product for customers
- Move, handle, and transport product, or supplies
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Perform general stocking duties
- Perform general cleaning duties
- Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
- Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
- Greet and talk politely with customers
- Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
- Function as a team member and get along with others
- Adhere to daily work schedule
- Work weekends, any shift, holidays and overtime as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Physical requirements
- Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,
- Move, lift (minimum height of 4 on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 60lbs
- Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet entire shift
- Push/pull a heavy loaded pallet with manual pallet jack
- Push/pull a loaded stock cart
- Operate heavy equipment Forklifts, baler, etc. (will train)
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred
Age requirement
Minimum age 18
