Statistician I
The University of Alabama at Birmingham
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Statistician I who will have expertise using SAS for data management and statistical analysis. Experience with R and/or Stata is a plus but is not required. Essential analytic skills include multiple least squares and logistic regression, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis. Experience in statistical genetics is also a plus but is not required.
Key Duties, Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce statistical analyses for multicenter studies and randomized clinical trials
- Program and generate both routine reports and ad-hoc reports
- Contribute to the development of study-specific databases
- Contribute to multiple concurrent projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Annual Salary Range: $50,050 – $81,330
Qualifications
Masters degree in Math or a related field and required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
