Staffing Resource Specialist – Clinic Resource Team

Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawaii. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawaii, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in the hospital or clinic. As the Clinic Staffing Specialist, you would coordinate with department directors, supervisors and leads to support clinic-wide operational activities and staff activities on a day-to-day basis. You would also strive to provide optimal administrative support and take responsibility for the administration and management of staffing functions necessary to meet the clinic needs, in compliance with labor agreements and hospital policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of clerical experience with an emphasis in good communication skills and an ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities and duties.
Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) to three (3) years of experience working in an outpatient environment.
