Software Quality Assurance Manager
Allegion is looking for a passionate Software Quality Assurance Manager to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security and access management. You’ll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep you and your loved ones safe and secure where they work, live and thrive.
What you’ll do:
- Drive a holistic and quality first approach to software development and delivery.
- Manage QA teams while effectively solving problems that cross product, functional and geographical boundaries.
- Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of Software Development Engineers in Test.
- Establish metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and products.
- Take ownership of manual and automated tests, QA processes, and day to day QA activities.
- Evangelize best practices and processes, coaching other SDETs to elevate the overall technical quality and maturity.
- Champion learning, growth, engagement and continuous improvement for yourself and other SDETs on the team
- Setting the standard for authentic communication and collaboration.
- 10+ years of relevant QA experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with software automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience managing teams operating in an agile software development methodology.
- Ability to lead teams in solving problems, making decisions, and effective collaboration with peer organizations.
- Ability to assess risks and make decisions, acting with a sense of urgency enabling teams to deliver on time.
- Mobile testing experience preferred
- The expected Base Salary Range: $95,100 – $176,700. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
