The role formulates strategies and meticulous software plans for organizations platforms and technologies. The role recruits, motivates, mentors, coaches, develops, and retains a high-performing team of product managers and product marketers.
Responsibilities
- Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of the product management function.
- Leads cross-functional teams through agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitors competitive market to determine client needs for certain product improvements.
- Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Recommends product requirements and definitions to align with stakeholders needs.
- Collaborates with the software engineering team on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life.
- Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle.
- Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments.
- Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and marketing collateral.
- Demonstrates process improvement and project management experience, preferably with the implementation of large projects.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of modern computer science including algorithms, data structures, software architecture. Where applicable, knowledge of cloud and hybrid cloud service architectures and their impacts on development and deployment.
- Understanding of current machine learning algorithms, under which circumstances each is applicable and their pros and cons. Able to compose new model architectures and objective functions. Able to integrate multiple models into systems.
- Knowledge of data processing techniques and data preprocessing requirements for the common machine learning approaches. Knowledge of data collection techniques. Knowledge of data augmentation approaches and their pros and cons.
- Advanced product management skills including scope definition, management and prioritization along with product roadmap design.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in working across geographies to achieve desired results.
- Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences. (e.g. written, verbal, presentation).
- Superior business acumen, technical knowledge of multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $157,550 – $242650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
