Job Advert Description

South Wales Police is seeking to recruit a Service Desk Agent, to work in the ICT Customer Services Department, providing a 1st contact resolution service responding to user’s needs relating to South Wales Police IT/IM systems and ensuring South Wales Police exploits and maximises the benefits to be gained from use of these systems.

The successful candidate will be required to provide hands on support and take a proactive approach in providing technical advice and support for systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and bespoke force systems, as well as providing regular progress reports. There will also be the opportunity to become involved with the implementation of new systems and assist on special projects relating to the development of technical systems.

This post is suitable for job share/part time workers.

The successful candidate must be prepared to undergo vetting to MV/SC level.
