Job Description :
The Orders Development team is hiring a Scrum Master I to be responsible for scrum framework, values, facilitating and managing the process for the organization, product owners, and several scrum teams. As a Scrum Master, you will organize and lead several cross-functional scrum teams through the Product Development Process from initiation to release; plan and lead the scrum teams through agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprints, and demos; and act as a liaison and primary point of contact between the scrum teams and product management, product development and other stakeholder teams. You will also manage the progress of the sprint; identify and escalate distractions and barriers that impede or slow scrum team progress; facilitate collaborative cooperation and consensus within the scrum teams and across other stakeholders through coordination and effective communication; and monitor key metrics, such as quality and speed compared to scope, goals, and objectives, and provide regular updates to the scrum teams and key stakeholders. Additionally, you will model agile methodologies, tools, and best practices that support the Product Development Process and identify process improvement opportunities at a team or department level.

Working Environment


This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Basic Qualifications
    • At least 5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
      • At least 1 years Project/program management work experience
      • At least 4 years of experience of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
