Expired Job Description :Silicon Valley Medical Development is currently seeking a talented Scheduler to join our growing healthcare team!
Pay: $27.00/hr – $29.00/hr
Location: Mountain View
Silicon Valley Medical Development is recruiting full-time Schedulers for our El Camino Health Multi-Specialty Care outpatient practices located in San Jose, CA.The Scheduler creates and schedules patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner. He/she facilitates communications throughout the medical practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in a medical office or outpatient/ambulatory care organization
- At least one (1) year experience of medical terminology required
- Word processing and computer experience
- Experience working with an EMR
- Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
- Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
- Ability to perform basic math
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task in order to complete assignments within the time allotted to maintain standard workflow
- Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative and willing to assist others
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Location: Silicon Valley Medical Development · El Camino Specialty Care – Mt. View
Schedule: Full Time, Days, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
