Sales Coordinator – Sony Pictures Classics

Sony Pictures Classics, a New York-based distributor of independent and foreign films, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join the Sales team.
We are seeking an accomplished, motivated individual with a knowledge and love of independent and foreign cinema, and a curiosity about the independent film marketplace. The individual must be an extremely well-organized, independent worker who can take initiative and be willing to think outside the box
The Sales Coordinators responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate theatre information in booking and billing system
- Book and track press, festival and special event screenings
- Send out trade letters to exhibitors and setting up exhibitor screenings
- Assistant to EVP, Sales
- Back up to Manager, Non-Theatrical Sales
Job requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for independent and foreign cinema and the independent film marketplace
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability & ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Foreign Language ability a plus
- BA preferred
- 1 – 2 years related experience
