Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May-November
Pay: $17.25/hr.
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (include split shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Develop individual relationships with all residents by providing overall excellent customer service, knowing the names/positions/interests of each resident, and setting expectations early and often.
- Participate in, plan, and support weekly community involvement efforts. Keep varying employee schedules and interests in mind when selecting content. Assist other housing staff members in efforts to create and encourage a fun and engaging environment based on respect and inclusivity.
- Maintain high standards of residence housekeeping and safety by following daily and weekly cleaning schedules, performing monthly safety inspection checklists, and reporting additional needs and concerns to the Housing Manager/Assistant.
- Keep accurate and detailed administrative records related to dorm management including resident arrivals, resident departures, key control, linen control, safety inspection checklist, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Handle personnel issues with sensitivity and maintain appropriate confidentiality. Make proper judgment calls regarding escalation of issues above and beyond the realm of their position including dorm compliance issues, employee relations issues, NPS violations, interpersonal conflicts, workplace concerns, etc.
- Serve as a Xanterra Parks & Resorts supervisor and role model for residents. The minimum expected is the personal observation of all residence hall regulations, Xanterra Parks & Resorts policies, state, and federal laws.

- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with seasonal housing operations
- Must be capable of moving/lifting objects up to 50 pounds and maintain a moderate level of exertion
- Ability to walk moderate distances and climb stairs multiple times throughout shift
- Ability to sustain periods of standing, bending, flexing, pushing/pulling vacuum, performing cleaning duties as needed
- Must be able to walk up to one mile continuously
- Must be able to kneel or lay flat on the ground to inspect employee rooms and bathrooms
- Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, including icy and snow-covered areas
