Indepth Solutions Inc. specializes in property title research on a national level. We are currently looking to fill a Junior Title Researcher position to perform title searches. The Junior Title Researcher’s primary job function is to accurately and independently search and examine public records online to determine legal conditions of property titles per customer specifications. They examine records including, but not limited to Recorder’s computer indexing and tract books, Assessors and Treasurer’s databases, county court case searches and mapping systems to verify property legal descriptions. The Junior Title Researcher needs to speak frequently with county officials and other title supporting business entities. They summarize and provide documentation to support their search process and outcome.

  • Day to day duties are performed independently with regularly scheduled team meetings.
  • Requires spending 8 hour shifts working on a dual monitor computer.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience
  • Minimum 50 Words per minute typing skills with 0% error ratio.
  • Meets one or more of the below requirements:
    • 6 months experience in our Data Entry position.
    • 6 months real estate title research or examination experience.
    • Associates degree or equivalent higher education.
    • 1 year prior experience in online/database research.
  • A background or understanding of the real estate closing / title industry would be ideal, but not required. All new hires will go through 6 – 12 months of onsite training regardless of prior experience.

  • Must have excellent written, phone, e-mail and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to listen, follow direction and get along well with others.
  • Must have a thirst for knowledge and willingness to seek out continued education.
  • Must have excellent computer navigation skills.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office. Quick Books experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Works in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner
  • Identifies and accurately reports current year and delinquent tax information through county treasurer websites and phone communication.
  • Applies knowledge of legal documents and local statutes affecting title to real property in order to determine what should and should not be provided in a title report.
  • Operates multiple online public record indexing websites and title plant software to research and obtain copies of necessary documents.
  • Researches and verifies judgments, divorce and foreclosure cases in various online judicial court websites.
  • Communicates detailed information related to their title research to various departments within the company.
  • Proficient in navigating GIS mapping systems and plotting sectioned ground legal descriptions.
  • Examines research performed by local abstractors to ensure quality and accuracy.
