Reporting to the Director, Quality Management Services, you will be responsible for the quality assurance strategy within the claims division. This means ensuring legislation, policy, and processes are applied consistently and correctly across the division which is directly linked to our strategic goal of “Integrity” and the supporting objective of “advance and leverage our capabilities in enterprise risk management and quality assurance”. You are also accountable to deliver timely results of all Quality Reviews within the Claims division. You will also use relevant feedback from stakeholders, partners, and other departments to continuously improve the program while continuously educating employees on Quality principles and objectives. This position can be located anywhere in the province of New Brunswick. Your key areas of responsibility will include: • Planning, scheduling, and conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure legislation, policies and processes are implemented consistently and correctly. • Creating and issuing summary reports of file reviews. • Ensuring that the Quality Management System is delivering consistent results as priorities and processes change. • Supporting the analysis and implementation of recommendations to improve quality. • Monitoring, managing, and improving a robust QA System that supports the quality goals for the claims division. • Creating and delivering the annual QA plan. • Collaborating with other departments so that there is visibility and action planning on those opportunities. You, as a successful candidate, possess: • University degree. • Three to five years of experience in quality assurance or continuous improvement tools and methodologies. • Minimum five years’ experience in claims management. • Working knowledge of legislation, policies and processes including claims management. • Audit certification (Quality Auditor Certification (CQA) or alternate designations such as CPA or CIA) or relevant experience is an asset.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.
