Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for a Purchasing Assistant for the upcoming Summer season! Our Summer employment dates are May-September.


The purpose of a Purchasing Assistant is to receive, assist in purchasing, and stock produce, dry goods &amp frozen goods for the culinary department.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in purchasing food products for culinary and event needs.
  • Keep an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on time in the season.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors.
  • Compare produce deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.


Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework required.
  • Minimum of one year in food industry experience.
  • Proven history of effective supply management.

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
