Program Administrator II

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Program Administrator II who administers the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. This position will work with a team in processing the Conflict-of-Interest submissions. Strong computer skills and a science/medical-related degree are an asset. IRAP experience, Excel Experience, Conflict of Interest experience, and database experience preferred.
Key Duties & Primary Responsibilities:
- Administers the logistical support for a university-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature
- May participate in developing program plans, objectives, and directives
- May supervise support staff
- Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources
- Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program
- Responsible for adherence to program budget
- May provide education and training to the UAB community
- Previous IRAP experience as an asset
- Previous experience with complex databases as an asset
- Microsoft Excel experience is an asset
- Perform other duties as assigned
Annual Salary Range: $38,170 – $62,015
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
