Job Description :
Are you career-oriented, hardworking, dependable and looking to join our US Smokeless Tobacco production team in Nashville, TN? If yes, then please read more to apply as an entry-level Production Operator.

You will support high speed production operations in a manufacturing team environment. These manufacturing positions are primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and surrounding work areas.

The following is a list of examples of the types of activities that are performed on the job:

  • Understanding and following safety rules and practices, and ensuring the safety of self and others.
  • Reviewing and following written instructions, work procedures, and safety procedures and requirements
  • Ability to work in a team based environment with other employees of all levels
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to sanitize manufacturing equipment
  • High degree of initiative and conscientiousness
  • Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete 120 probationary days of employment

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States and for US Smokeless Tobacco
  • Be available to work any shift, and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Previous manufacturing/factory experience is preferred

The starting wage for this position is $19.24 per hour in addition to a shift differential based on shift assignment.
